Edmund Shingirayi Maputi is Dean of the School of Engineering & Technology at Harare Institute of Technology. He leads Edmunds Engineering Design (EED) Lab. His research focuses on the Product Development, Data Driven and Computational Engineering Design. He acquired a PhD in Engineering with Amity University Haryana and Master of Technology Degree in Engineering Design with Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, India. He is a Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers. He has various publications, patents and industrial designs.
