The Master of Technology Degree in Forensic Accounting and Auditing furnishes students with relevant modern-day technology and tools to explore innumerable forensic accounting and auditing issues around the globe. The programme provides in-depth forensic investigative and analytic expertise in guiding fraud investigations through the study of a combination of theoretical, hands-on and technologically enhanced courses. The degree combines specialized forensic accounting and auditing knowledge, modern technology, law, digital forensics and skills with a practitioner’s experience, expertise and objectivity. In addition, the Master’s degree seeks to advance knowledge and practical expertise in the prevention, detection and investigation of diverse fraud schemes. The programme provides a progressive, challenging and stimulating scholarship and application of forensic accounting and fraud investigation tools, models and techniques in the prevention and investigation of fraud, corruption, cyber-fraud and bribery.
