The Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) played a pivotal role in a Nyanga district career and guidance day organized by the Department of Employment Services and Promotion (DESP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. This much-anticipated event took place at Regina Coeli High School on 21 March 2025, bringing together students from over 10 secondary schools across the district.
The event focused on providing essential guidance to students as they navigate an increasingly dynamic and competitive labour market. With industries continuously evolving, the need for effective career counselling is more crucial than ever.
HIT remains committed to promoting educational initiatives and recognizes the importance of equipping learners with knowledge about potential career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
