The Harare Institute of Technology secured the Third (3rd) place out of 9 participating Engineering Schools at the just-ended National Engineering Students Awards for Research and Innovation (NESARI) Competitions.

The Chinhoyi University of Technology scooped the First Prize followed by the Zimbabwe National Defence University (ZNDU) which came second. Their presentation was on the ” Design of a Semiconductor-based Waste Heat Recovery System” A case study of PPC Cement.
