The Harare Institute of Technology is exhibiting at the ZANU-PF’s 20th National People’s Conference’s Business Expo in Gweru, demonstrating its resolve and commitment to the realisation of Vision 2030 through its mandate of developing, incubating and transferring technology for Zim’s modernisation and industrialisation.
The University is also demonstrating its academic prowess in various Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) disciplines.
The exhibits are a window to the University’s limitless capacity and potential as the trojan horse for Zimbabwe’s development agenda through the provision of cutting-edge technology degree programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, registration of intellectual property, commercialization of research, development and innovation outputs, production of goods and services including ERP software and applications, promotion of Technopreneurship.
The University is also into Machine Design tooling, Lathe and CNC machining, Press tool designing and manufacturing, Blow and injection moulding as well as Metal fabrication.
Today, His Excellency the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa, together with the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, the two Vice Presidents Cde C.D.G.N Chiwenga and Cde K.C.D Mohadi, the Zanu-PF National Chair Cde Oppah Muchinguri visited the HIT stand at Business Expo.
