The Harare Institute of Technology in partnership with Childline Zimbabwe are hosting the first of it’s kind gaming competition, The Screen Online Hackathon under the theme: “Increasing Child Online Safety” at the HIT Innovation Hub. The objective is to design and develop fun and educational computer games that promotes child online safety.

Participants have been drawn from the Harare Institute of Technology, Midlands State University, University of Zimbabwe and the Catholic University. The First Prize will get USD1000, Second and Third Prize will get USD600 and USD300 respectively. Are you a Game Designer, Programmer, Artist, if the answer is YES, then this is for you!
