Consolidating Synergies between Research and Manufacturing for Industrial Development

Preamble

The International Conference on Industrial Automation, hosted by the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering of the Harare Institute of Technology, will showcase relevant ground breaking research and intellectual work by researchers and innovators at global level. It seeks to harness the very practical innovative research work anchored on emerging technologies that can be implemented in the manufacturing industries for sustainability. The global constraints crippling most economies can be tackled by continuously redefining and improving all sectors in manufacturing. In that context, the challenge for every researcher encompasses identifying the root cause for failures and emerging technologies that can be used for remedial action.

The conference will provide a platform for constructive discussions, sharing of knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, between renowned researchers, scientists, scholars, business people and policy makers under the theme: Consolidating Synergies between Research and Manufacturing for Industrial Development. Paper submission:

Papers/Abstracts targeting the conference theme and sub-themes are invited from researchers, academics, policy makers and business executives. Abstracts (maximum of 250 words) are to be submitted to the secretariat@iconiazim.co.zw for review.

Guidelines for papers

Papers/Abstracts should be submitted using the format provided on the conference website www.iconiazim.co.zw. All papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for indexing to Scopus, Inspec, Google scholar and more.

Conference Fees

The conference fee is $200 and $250 for early and late registration respectively. Early registration for poster presentations is $100 and $150 for late registration. Listener’s fee with conference proceedings is $100 and without conference proceeding is $50. The conference fee covers attendance, a flash disk of the conference proceedings, teas/coffee and lunch during conference days.
