  • What do I do if I want to change the programme I have been offered?
    Visit the Registration and Student Records Management Office within the first two weeks of the semester for guidance. Students are advised to note that change of programme can only be effected after approval has been granted by the University.
  • Am I able to change mode of study during the course of my studies?
    Change of mode of study is processed by the Registration and Student Records Management Office provided the student makes the request within the first two weeks of the semester. It should be noted that such changes can only be effected after approval has been granted by the University
  • Can I be exempted from doing Courses I have done with another University?
    A student may be exempted from doing some of the courses done at a recognized tertiary Institution by making a formal request through his/her department during the normal registration period. It should be noted that exemptions can only be official when authority is granted by Senate and student is formally informed of the outcome.
  • Where can I be assisted when there are changes on my name or contact details?
    Visit the Registration and Student Records Management Office and advise on the changes.
  • Am I able to register or delete courses I have not registered or registered by error at the beginning of the semester?
    Amendments on courses registered can only be done during the normal registration period.
  • What procedure should I follow if I am temporarily unable to proceed with my studies?
    Students who are unable to proceed with studies for various reasons must formally defer studies before withdrawing from the Institute. One should seek prior approval by completing a Deferment Form which is obtainable from the Registration and Student Records Management Office or on our website.
  • How do I get a copy of an official incomplete academic transcript?
    A student may request for an interim transcript from the Registration and Student Records Management Office upon payment of a fee which is subject to review by the Registrar from time to time.
  • Am I able to get a replacement of my transcript which has been destroyed, lost or stolen?
    A duplicate academic transcript can be issued upon payment of a fee prescribed by the Registrar.
