Digital Marketing Workshop Series 1. Digitising for Business Transformation

The Department of Electronic Commerce, in collaboration with ZIMNAT and ZIMSWITCH has held one day Digital Marketing Workshop under the theme " Digitising for Business Transformation" today from 08-1300Hrs in the S1 Conference Room.

The workshop discussed issues to do with digital marketing tools, digital payments, social media and monetising platforms, the challenges and opportunities associated with the digitisation of products, the transition to the digital world and the levers of success.

In his welcome remarks, Dean W. Gwarimbo of the School of Business and Management Sciences said the workshop series is set to empower participants with relevant digital marketing skills that create value and a competitive edge within today's dynamic environment. "It is our hope that by the end of the workshop series, participants will skillfully communicate with the digitally well informed customer. We have presentations from industry that are in line with the subject matter such that this integrated approach will improve the participants' market visibility," he said.
